Mr. Ivy is an Illinois attorney, and a member of the Illinois Bar. He is a graduate of Western Michigan, Thomas Cooley School of Law. Mr. Ivy possesses two undergraduate engineering degrees. First in electronic engineering technology. Second, in mechanical design. He also possesses two masters degrees from Keller Graduate School of Management. The first masters degree is in project management, and the second masters degree is in business administration.
Mr. Ivy worked as an engineer and a project manager for several small, medium and global companies, each focusing on the development of various technological products, including but not limited to, cars, automation, computers and cell phones. Mr. Ivy's combined 25 years of business ownership, management, engineering and legal experience makes him uniquely qualified to help individuals and businesses to overcome even the most difficult financial situations.
Mr. Ivy is a member of the federal court adjudicating the local bankruptcy matters, specifically, the United States District Court for Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Ivy counsels clients on financial matters, and assists individuals, families and businesses with obtaining the bankruptcy protection, either under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 or Chapter 11, of the Bankruptcy Code.

Mr. Ivy focuses a significant portion of his legal practice on helping business startups with development of their business structures, legal strategies, protection of their brands and inventions. Mr. Ivy is a registered patent attorney, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington DC. Mr. Ivy helps businesses litigate patent and trademark cases. He also specializes in registering and protecting intellectual property, including federal and state trademarks, trade secrets and patents, both domestic and international.
In addition to counseling and handling legal cases addressing bankruptcy and business. Mr. Ivy also focuses on the matters directly related to copyright law. He assists his clients with the protection and registration of their artistic expressions by registering their works with the United States Copyright Office and the Library of Congress. Mr. Ivy has worked with book writes, literary agents, publishing companies, film producers, script developers, and artists from all walks of life.
